went to montreal.....and ottawa and quebec city on this 3 day tour with a tour group. NEVER AGAIN. First not to mention how we never have enough time for sites i want to see.....heck, we pretty much missed all the ones i wanted to see. We saw some random churches n stuff........while all i wanted was to go to a cafe/ maybe a crepe shop. And it doesn't help that there was also my cousin (10 y o boys are SUPER annoying...... tho he sorta reminded me of when i had to teach english to......10 y o boys......lol). And my uncle that agrees with my mom on all matters. And I couldn't use English the whole trip :(
Was SOOOO glad to be back to the States last night..... tho we still had some hiccups. Apparently my parents hate ALL of my clothes/ style/ hair and everything. They think I have no taste and no artistic sense.......... ummm...... ok. Today they esp hated my yellow pants D: I'll remember never to bring clothing i actually like home. Tho I AM excited i got those long leggings finally. yay
sorry for all the complaining......pics to come.......and still so amused by octopus paul. I think octopus is my fav marine animal xD

It sounds like the parents aren't that crazy about hipster style =P... but then that would be why it's hipster. I guess the yellow pants would probably be very shocking to them x_X

I'm not a big fan of tour groups..... my friend goes to foreign countries with them so it's probably just personal preference..... and that this one was geared towards history and learning about Canada. Which mostly I already knew.....

Yeah, tour groups are hard ... it's hard to make everyone in the group happy? And I feel like they always show churches and history and stuff like that :/ They talked a lot about history through the duck tours too in Boston but I always was amused to hear what the tour groups thought of Harvard/MIT/other colleges hahaha.
:( re the parents. There are some things I definitely can't wear around the family either (I wouldn't try any kind of bright colored pants around them xP).
I've recently bought some more flowy fun clothing that I'm SURE they would not be a fan of. Although I just realized that I think they may be right about the pregnant tank tops on me... so I donated some of them haha).
i'm VERY sure the tour groups are not geared towards me and my particular tastes......tho possibly not my uncle's either. I like to people-watch, he likes to nature-gaze. We didn't really do either :O
family.....i'll learn next time..... but seriously they hate everything i own..... from jeans to tops to cardigans to.....yellow pants *sigh* For some reason my mom thinks it's ok to wear leggings..... alone......

uwah speaking of vegas clothes!! i have no idea. i'm so scared of the vegas weather. i feel like i need to bring layers because it'll be freezing inside and sweltering outside. i want to wear jeans (maybe) but that's probably not a good idea outside... :[
i have no clue what i'll wear either..... i wanted to bring jeans.....and those yellow pants.....but probably skirts/shorts is a better idea :(
